And the inevitable cull of Polos due to icy roads and cold tyres... probably just jinxed myself there.

More than that, I haven't seen any signs of winter yet, it's just been overcast and a bit windy for ages.

Winter tyre prices going up?

Dig out the snow tyres. Lol.

We've had random hail showers and sleet.

I've been having the roof down a lot and not wearing warm clothing, its not wintry at all. however, I expect to see hundred of topics on condensation.

 my polo sunroof leaked yesterday, on my girlfriends head.. Then realised I accidentally didn't close it all the way. Ha!

In the Mk3 Polo (that's a 2F if you're being pedantic) it warns against opening the sunroof if it's covered in snow.

Who needs snow tyres. 145 80's FTW! I shall just put my skinny standards back on. I had no problem in the snow with my white coupe last year with 155 70 13 normal tyres :-D.

I had proper ice on my car and frozen shut doors sunday morning!

Meanwhile in Scotland all is normal. Frozen doors/locks are the worst but (thank christ) my cars drivers side is exposed to the sun on winter mornings so I haven't had the most important door freeze up yet (jinxed for sure)

I have a north-facing driveway well shielded from the sun, so my car is usually wet or frozen depending on the time of year.

Therefore i'm prepared, and rarely have a problem (though rust will eventually kill this car due to the above).

Saw a used set on my local Gumtree for £700!!!!! I swear I could buy and fit new ones cheaper.

I'm in the north east of Scotland and last night was the first time I thought it got 'a bit chilly' outside, but apart from that it still feels like a rainy summer/autumn.

the cold actually did kill my battery, but we have had a week of cold horrid weather and i hadnt drove the car for 4 days

It's pretty nippy today but then again I've got abnormally thin skin or something, I feel the cold very easily. I live only a few miles from the coast so the weather never really gets that bad here in truth, snow in any noticeable quantity isn't too common here but it does get very windy.

I'm off to Canada on Sunday, it's already been snowing for 4 weeks. Bitch please.
