1.0 Polo 6n2

Featured Replies

Hello all, i'm selling my polo as i have my eye on a peugeot 205

Details are as follows-

2000my polo 1.0 6n2 5 door, Black magic (LC9Z) in colour

112,000 miles, MOT 4/2013

Good Points-

Has BBS RXII (polo GTI) alloys fitted that are in near perfect condition with four good tyres

Oil and air filters replaced a couple of months ago, along with the oil and the spark plugs

Is lowered on FK Coilovers, set to a sensible ride height as there are a few speed humps round my way

Recent starter motor renewal

Ignition switch changed a couple of months ago

2 month old exhaust system (backbox and mid section)

Cup holder fitted from a lupo GTI (fits in the bottom of the radio section)

No advisories on latest MOT (Runs till end of April 2013)

Rear brakes fully refurbed for MOT in 2011, so should last another few years

Taxed till the end of April 2013

Just put a tenner's worth in the tank

Bad Points-

Has a fair dent in the rear of the passenger sill (pictured). This is still solid and there is no rust at all on the car, just a bit unsightly.

A couple of other scratches, most obvious on the rear wheelarches and a bit on the bumper

Passenger wingmirror casing is a bit damaged

All in all this is a good car, not had any serious problems with it in the year and a half i've had it, only really selling it as i'm looking for a small automatic car to teach my other half to drive in. This car is good on fuel, i'd say about 45-50 MPG when driven reasonably, and with it being a more door its quite practical.

Would be ideal for a first time driver as the insurance and tax are really cheap for this and £20 will last a week and more on petrol. Looks a little like a GTI, would only need front and rear spoilers and grills to complete the look.

I'm asking 900 ONO, will come with various spares if buyer wants them, am also happy to tax at buyers expense

Thanks for looking, here are some piccies

Will add interior pics soon

Still got this, will take 700 on legal steels or 850 on rxIIs, apart from a couple of dents the car drives faultlessly and has tax and ticket till end of April 2013, must be worth a shot
