hi just thought id start a thread for my new purchase,sold my mk3 camper to buy this as i prefer mk2 shape.

its a 1986 coupe s in jade green .80k on clocks .nearly full history.

current spec , standard mh engine ,8p box ,ashley exhaust and k and n bolt on

isotta wheel and custom cnc ally boss. black with silver /grey strip interior.

lowered on jom 30mm shocks and springs .need to go lower though especially on arse end as it sits about 20mm higher than front already.

bought with no t and t for £200.

had look underneath and sill backs /arch/sill near susp mounting point is corroded both sides

did welding at weekend and booked in for mot tomorrow 10.30 am.hopefully she will pass.

k and n .

immediate plans ,rocker gasket and spray or get ally rocker cover.

polished ally header tank on order.

front strut brace.

try and upgrade brakes a bit.

was going to keep standard ish but fancy a loud colour respray ,(unsure of colour yet)

thats about it for now . :-)

now taxed and tested as of 11.00an this morning .wheyyy. new triple silicon leads and triple electrode plugs fitted ,radiator drained and flushed and new antifreeze. can start prepping for spray job now.

you spraying it the same colour? does need lowering though!

if you ever come to selling those seats they would suit my car very well haha let me know if you ever do :)
