**SOLD** Mk3 Breadvan - 1.3 AAV, BBS RZ, GT bits, Tax/MOT etc

Featured Replies

I've owned this since June 2009 and I am the third owner since new. It was off road for a year and a half (May 2010) as I brought a MK4 20vt and the plans that I had for it (G40 etc) didn't materialise due things going on.

H Reg Breadvan (registered June 1991)

Alpine white (L90E)

11 months MOT (September 2013)

5 months Tax (February 2013)

99,000 miles

1.3 AAV SPI engine

GT Cam

6n rocker shaft cover

K&N panel air filter

Lowered 80mm/60mm (ish) on PhilJ suspension

4 branch stainless exhaust manifold

GT mid box

GT back box (brand new)

GT clocks

8000k HIDs

Rover Vitesee Recaro half leather seats

Gladerseite.de ARB blocks

Rear wiper removed and bunged

Clear indicators and side repeaters

JBL speakers in the parcel shelf

Metal pressed UK legal plates

Unbranded steering wheel

G40 boot side carpets

2 keys - original VW and cut one

Massive pile of service history including the original dealers receipt

Red BBS RZ with 165 x 55 x R14 tyres. The front tyres are brand new (Nangkang AS1) and the back are Bridgestone Potenza and have a few mm left. Wheels themselves are in good condition with a few paint chips/scrapes where they've scrubbed in the past (could do with a polish too!)

I replaced the cam belt and head gasket in Summer 2010 - it wasn't gone but was leaking a little bit of oil and I wasn't happy with it. The car has done about 15k since. I'm a bit anal for oil changes so it's had an oil change ever 5k (last one was end of August)

It's in pretty good condition overall although it does have some rust spots (pictured). I planned to smooth or replace the boot but this hasn't happened, and therefore the bottom of the boot lid has some rubbing where I intended to repair a bit of rust. The engine also has the obligatory Polo oil leak but it's nothing major. There is also a bit of paint rub where I caught it a little bit too hard with a power mop recently :( Bit of paint peel on the sunroof as well

I've stripped the rear as I planned to ply and carpet it all out. I've still got the parcel shelf, supports, rear speakers and a few other bits which I'll throw in. I however don't have the standard seats as they all went down the tip last year.

Engine runs really well doesn't rattle/smoke or use any fluid apart from the slight oil leak (being honest!) - full service summer last year whilst it was off road.

Looking for around £1000 (will listen to offers - don't be shy, the worst I can say is no!)

Car is located in Walton on the Naze, Essex

I also have a AutoBra bonnet bra and front upper strut brace which I will throw in if I get what I'm asking :)

Thanks,

Jamie

I got the wheels from a guy (Alex - Humbaz) on here at the beginning of last year, came from up north.

I'd go down to £850, given the amount I've spent on it, but not really willing to go down any lower than that.

I'd prefer cash ideally, as I already have a Mk4 20v turbo which is my daily, and this is just sitting around

..and sorry mate, if it was a Mk2 GTi 16v then maybe!

Awww, I had some red rz's on a 6n a couple years back in Braintree. And I'm pretty interested in this but have to sell my car first! Hopefully it will be soon haha

Yeah I've been to a few of them before but not for a while, I never know when its on. And I'm just in a standard 6n at the moment so meets aren't a top priority haha
