I'm looking to 5speed my 1043l polo I've already got a gt head and cam and I'm just looking for a 5th gear! I've heard the 1l cant have tall gears and that they might struggle with 5 gears, so which would be the best box for me to have?

GT box or 1.0 5speed, the carb and singlepoint injection 1.3 units would be fine after a 4-speed if you just want a 5th on top of the four instead of a shorter set of five.
