Yooo got some bucket seats but need some frames to bolt them.

Need to be as close to west london if possible (ruislip area)

eric i have some you can bolt your seats straight onto mate i dont need any more as my cobra buckets are bolted to them pm me if your interested would save you modifying them

Modding them only involves drilling 4 holes so i dont mind lol

drilling four holes in what though theres only the tube on standard seat bases I've added cross braces and then plate across them so that they are strong enough

as if they arent done properly its an mot fail now due to safety

What subframes were those cobra seats you sold me on? I will see how they held up when I strip my shell later..

Mk2/3 i think, id do a bit of reinforcing on those, the welds didnt look that great tbh, but hey your a lot lighter than me lol

oi you bell lol I'm not bothered if you buy mine tbh they are just annoying taking up room but it can be an mot fail especially as they are also a seat belt anchor point dont forget

and say you did have bodged ones in and had a crash and your passenger or you seriously hurt yourself because they failed you would be fubarred all i was saying is makesure they are strong and sturdy as thats the only real thing holding you tight in the car

i have a set of frames sent to me by corbeau (non tilt)

they were meant to deliver me 6n ones but sent me the early polo ones

I dont have an early shape polo to confirm that they are in fact for an early polo

here is a pic of them lined up next to the 6n ones (6n is the bottom frame in the pic)

they're basically the same but the 6n ones but are about an inch narrower at the rear

so you would need to come down and double check fitment.. but I'm fairly sure they are the correct ones for you

Get some corrado's eric , will be a little high with the standard bases . Just look for some ripped cloth ones.

I mean rado bases! Height adjustable aswell. If your going to bother may aswell get rado ones as they sit lower too

Not hard at all get on corrado forum, people get shut all the time . I think I picked up shagged ones for about £20 before. If your like most of us in early polos your head will skim the room in normal seats
