Basically i'm being nosy and just wondering what cars your family and friends drive. Here's some of mine and others..

Mine, a 1.0, 5 speed, tornado red coupe. :)

The wifes, a 1.2s Polo 6r.

Mate Jacks, a 1.6 TDCi Fiesta Zetec S chipped to 120 bhp.

Father's, a gold 2.5ltr v6 Rover 75 with on 51,000 miles on the clock.

Our project, which we never make progress on.

Mint condition 1982 Porsche 924, absolutely stone mint, rust free.

We do have other cars but they are just boring diesel rovers and cars that we are selling but if you do want to see them they are in the Non-Polo section for sale.

I managed to get my family all driving VAG daily cars but then my sister sold her Seat and bought a Ford

My dad drives a POS 2005 Fiat Punto. It's on it's second engine because the sump had a small split but it was "ok" according to him even after a garage told him it needed done. It's also been rattling over bumps on the front off-side corner for about two years which I kept telling him to get done but it's "ok" as well apparently. The original engine was killed when the sump suddenly lost too much oil and when I asked him how far he drove it after he said "a mile or two" so I'm past the point of trying to tell him when something is up with whatever car he has or when they need serviced so I'm just going to let him break cars until they aren't salvageable any more and laugh at him.

My mums quite nice but low spec Volvo V40:

It's easily the best car anyone in my family has bought to date (other than my Polos IMO). I love the heated seats, it's a very comfortable car and it pulls nicely considering it's a 1.6D. I'm quite jealous of her free road tax.

My mums first car was a Vauxhall Vivia. Apparently if you lifted the carpet on the passenger side you could see straight through. Needless to say it's not about any more.

It's replacement didn't meet a very nice end either:

My grandmother has a 2005 Suzuki Alto which is alright, she's had it from new and it's not skipped a beat so I don't have anything bad to say about it other than the build quality could have been better as the drivers lock is loose and the antenna broke of it's own accord. Same colour and trim as this:

She also had an Alfasud at one point, here is the only picture I have of it:

That car truly was a pile of shit; the alternator barely worked so you always had to have a bit of gas on otherwise it would die and need bump started. It had three owners over six years and my grandmother wasn't the first or the last owner so it lasted only an average of 2 years with each of it's owners before being scrapped.

My auntie has a current Suzuki Alto (60 plate IIRC). She asked me to valet it once and holy shit, the build quality is laughable and having had a play with a Volkswagen Up I would be tempted to call it unacceptable. Everything inside is grey, nothing fits properly, the switches feel nasty and the underside of the bonnet and around the boot aperture isn't painted the same colour as the car, I'm sure it's just bare primer.

One of my older cousins had a Mini Cooper S on one of those restricted mileage purchase schemes (whatever they are called) and it was a nice car, pulled well. I still despise them though. Other cars in my families past includes:

Renault Megane estate

Alfa Romeo Alfasud

Hillman Imp estate (belonged to my grandfather and the only car my grandmother remembers with affection)

Dad's got a Fiat Marea. It's just a car to him. His toys are a shed full of old motorbikes.

Brother drives a Skoda Felicia pickup and a Transit Tipper. He's selling the Skoda and getting a Renault Kangaroo van though (needs something he can leave his tools in).

This is now pretty mint and back on the road

His lt35 which he has made into a flat bed

It is haha. My dad hates them, he thinks they are overpriced but amazingly reliable. Which is true in some circumstances but my dad is old and boring now and would rather have cruise control and leather rather than 200bhp and a huge turbo. Sucks :(

Dads daily, dad has had about a million mercs (most pimp oldschool!!), a couple audis( once again old school ones), mk2 golf, rado g60, mk1 passat, oh and did i forget he had a mk2 bredvan as his first car! was on some ronals slammed with some sort of extra modykit, all oem extras ect in 1988... ( ill will try to find the photo in his photo drawer haha) until it got stolen and burnt out in a field, and the passat got "stolen" in the 80s if you get my drift haha

Yeah nothing redicilous more of a sea cruiser/fisher it's stored down at our second home in Devon( ahh shit making me sound super rich haha :L ) na in all honestly grandads rich(property's and investments), dads well off and me... I've got 2 jobs just to keep my head above the water haha

Edit: just to make it sound little better dad dont just buy the merc out of the blue, he did save for a couple of years, he was even rolling around in a ford galaxy ha
