'88 MK2 Golf GTI 16V- Air con, Recaros, electric windows, all factory. Owned 17 years, but its been sat for the last 2.

Mom: '83 MK1 Golf GTI. Lhasa Green. Fresh resto and paint, as someone decided to ram the back end.

'66 Beetle. Beige. low. Currently in many bits. Undergoing a rebuild due to an engine fire.

Brother: His legs.

My grandparents from dads side have never owned a car. The rest of the family have very dull cars or company cars.

Most of my mates from college either dont have a car, or i dont know what it is.

Pretty much all my other mates have a VW or VAG group car of some kind. Anything from an oval window bug, to a T5 camper.

Tommorrow's job, do a wishbone on dad's Marea. Anyone got any tips? Apart from don't try and light the blowtorch in a strong wind when setting fire to it.

Me my Grandad and my Uncle are the only real car freaks in my family. Uncle's owned his Coswroth since 95 and the Polo since 98. He's the reason why I'm nuts about old Polo's!

Dad= Some horrible Hyundai coupe thing, think it's a Tiburon but I wouldn't swear to it... Prior to this he had an MG-F and a Puma. Just to be clear he hasn't destroyed them all he just swaps a lot haha

Step-dad= Black mk2 Mondeo, before this he had an Omega but it is possible that at some point you have drank coke out of a part of it...

My friends have a variety of cars; couple of Corsa C's, mk2 golf, new fiesta, picanto, fourth gen fiesta, lupo etc.

Previous cars of some include a red caddy, a bright blue classic beetle and an orange Reliant Robin which met an unfortunate death after it set itself alight...

Very nice people :) the fiesta is now owned by my dad and my mate is now driving my lupo. I no longer own my MK2F!

Next month I'm hoping my mate gets the car I want him to get which is a MK1 Seat Leon Cupra R 225. :)

Also, with me not having my car and the torrential weather I'm now driving the v6 rover to and from work, lets just say its a lovely car :)
