seat ibiza cupra mk3 seats into a 6N problems....

Featured Replies

Basically I bought these seats thinking they'd fit straight into my 6N, I read up and seen that the mk3 seats were the only non straight fit in and needed abit of modding. I've got these seats here and how the backs secure themselfs down is different. The polo seats hook in and the ibiza seats bolt in. I also don't see how I could swap the backings round as the seat bottom half is 2 piece and the polos 1. Any replys quick would be AMAZING as I'm trying to fit them right now! Thanks alex!!

This is the Ibiza rear seat base, pull the wire out of the mounting plate and it should then clip into the hooks on the Polo floor, and if your removing a single piece rear seat you'll need the centre fitting bracket for the divided rear

It bolts into the holes already in the floor pan

That's strange :? as mine is a poverty spec with the single piece rear seats, but the holes were there when I fitted the split rears from a 16v

As I said pull the wire out of the Ibiza mounting plate and it should then clip onto the hooks on the Polo floor

Alternatively drill the seat rail and nut n bolt the Ibiza mounts into position
