Well after my dad drove this in winter whilst his cls was stuck under all the snow he fell in love with it! He's brought me a 6n2 and he's had this. The mods so far are a full respray with the weld line under the rear lights smoothed off and the sills smoothed.

Spec as of 17th May 2014 (Will update this as things happen/as I remember things)
Exterior:

*Full respray

*Smoothed side skirts

*Smoothed weld lines below rear lights

*Black mirrors

*Aero wipers

Wheels and suspension:

*Standard steels Polished P-Slots ATS cups Unknown dished 5 spokes refurbed and powder coated white.

*Coilovers.

Engine:

*Heavily cleaned.

*Polished rocker cover.

*Bentley oil cap.

Interior:

*Black suede/alcantara headlining, pillars.

*Sun visors, grab handles, parcel shelf supports sprayed black.

Sound system:

*Alpine bluetooth head unit.

*Hertz 6.5 mid woofers.

*Hertz tweeters Vibe blackair Tweeters.

*JBL 752 amplifier

*JBL GT5-10 in a ported box, tuned to around 35hz

Only photo before respray but it had the front drivers wing smashed, rear passenger side scraped down a wall and a plant pot thrown at it a couple of times. £250 can't complain! Also had a misfire but some new leads and plugs and all fine!

Gave the engine a little love

A small change on the wheels we've found some where that will powder coat all 4 for £80 so getting them powdercoated white not sprayed diamond white. Should be taking them in tomorrow!

Ill take that oil cap! How much?! Hahah.

Saw this at Springfest, can't believe how clean it was.

Just got the wheels back from the powdercoaters photos later!

Prefer it to the flaking black :p Dad's toying around with the idea of having the lip polished but he'll probably do that when he curbs them.

well I'm 42 and still playing polos started many years ago on mk1 golfs so go for it and enjoy

Sorry about the lack of updates the 6n2's been playing up it's had new shocks cambelt pivots and springs for rear drums abs sensors hand brake cables wheel barings and needs a electric window motor and switches :( so i've been spending all my money getting that fixed and having to go back to the place twice because I kept getting the wrong parts! MOT today any way!

Should be selling the CLK soon any way so coilovers and tyres soon!

did you get the overheating sorted like dude? what have you changed so far?

Yeah it's all sorted now not sure really what was changed my dad was doing it but it turned out to be the thermostat housing.

Any way some small updates

Got some white center caps just need some blue VW badges for them now

And the coilovers have come so should be getting them on soon!

May be getting fitted tomorrow if we get time!

Coilovers being fitted as we speak, dad's supervising how much it's being lowered so it'll probably come back standard height

Blue wheel nuts have come, less than 24 hours delivery wasn't bad! Got them on straight away.

Then had a nice clean. Couldn't polish or wax it though because my microfibers were all dirty. Looks shiny considering there's nothing on it!

Still need to get the mirrors sprayed, roof done black/painted, 16v rear lights (not too keen on the all reds and mine are cracked) and loads of other little bits.

Wheels have been catching on front brake calipers so we've ordered some 3mm spacers for moar STANCE! joking just so they clear the calipers.

Got a new mirror set up aswell #ratlook #scenepoints

Took them off to get the sprayed gloss black because they were looking tatty. Should be done tomorrow
