Thanks mate :-D

Thanks mate :-D

no probs

the 6R's are so tidy

if you was after the BBS GTi Monza alloys, get the bigger size ones (17's?) as the smaller sizes are a standard silver alloy, and the bigger ones have polished faces and the 'circle cut outs' in the alloy are painted black

I'm sure the bottom ones are yeah, but i'm not 100% on that, as I have seen them on 6r GTi's on autotrader

 good man!

Just got to find some at a reasonable price, I have considered a few other options but I'd like to go down the oem+ route with this one. Hopefully the weather will start improving and I can really get cracking! :-D

Skoda Fabia or octavor's grafite grey 17's would look so good on this. OEM can even add a liccle naughty VW centre cap if there 56mm (I think)

Cheers Mate , I'm getting some fogs , having mirror backs colour coded , wheels , and a very light tint in the rears screen and rear quarters . I've de-badged the rear and silvered all the amber bulbs so far and I reckon that's about it for the outside :-D

Very nice buddy, plans sound good also!

Judging by the pics, are you on Instagram?

sweet

you got a new follower

Loving the bluemotion grill, its a great look.

Always thought that it restricts airflow, because its designed for diesel engines. Do you notice any difference?

Thought that initially, but the original grille on mine is solid anyway so hasn't made any difference 8-)

Well to cut a long story short getting this car didn't spark my interest in cars again , work , getting married and life in general just got in the way and I just had no love for cars.

So last weekend that all changed , Although the 6R was fairly clean I knew it needed a full hit (clay / polish / wax etc.) I reluctantly started at 8 am on Sat and cracked on . 10hrs and many coats of wax later I was rather happy with the results......
