Its been too long nicky :-( fancy a trip to sheffield?

On a constructive note, the ZXR400 carbs seem to be of better quailty than the honda equivalents!

^^Whats happened here? It used to be Nick and Eric who were in love. Home Wrecker!

He wanted a real man, so quickly moved out of erics house and jumped in with me, can't blame him.

Nick, tbh its not as a good idea as it seems. The original bolts have a unthreaded part thats the same diameter as the hole in the top caps, when you fit normal bolts, they dont fit as good and give you leaks.

Mine don't :) assume you mean a locating shoulder mr technical engineer

The gist of it is, with a poor flowing cylinder head you may find better power with a narrower LSA.

The newman/schrick 268/268 cam has an LSA of 113*.

Piper make a 268/268 cam with an LSA of 108*, which may be more appropriate for the AEE.

Surely the conventional carb size calculations arnt completely relevant to constant velocity bike carbs as the venturi adjusts itself? I have some ZX7R carbs with a 38mm throttle opening waiting to go on a car, probably a little overkill for my gt but they only cost me £10.
