Finally I have decided to put my banded steels up for sale. I had these made for me at widewheels.com about 4 years ago, this company is now called bandedsteels.com as far as I'm aware. I have a welders ticket for them also which will be included in the sale.

The wheels started life on a mk2 golf, they look like mini G60's. I sent them off to have them banded so they would be 8 and 9 inch wide. The welds are pretty tidy on the rim so hardly noticeable unlike some other sets I have seen.

I've had these wheels on my polo GTI but they haven't been used for several years now and have been sat in my bedroom collecting dust so it's time for them to go to a new home and get the use they deserve.

The tyres are in VGC, they were hardly on the car and I don't do many miles, they are Dunlop 145/45/14's.

I'm asking £550 for the wheels, tyres and two sets of centre caps and one set of nut caps.

This wheel has a flat spot on the lip as it was dropped by the tyre fitter, it will knock out though.

This is what the wheels looked like on my polo, I had my arches rolled on the front and rolled and pulled on the rear to tuck them in a bit better but I did run them without any arch mods too.

Thank you, I've still got my polo but tend to run my splits for shows now but if the bandies dont sell they will be about next show season so you'll have to come see it in the metal :)
