before anyone asks, this is not for my polo, but for my beemer :)

it previously had a belt driven clutch fan which for space reasons has to be removed. so there is currently nothing there with regards to fan wiring

today at the breakers i picked up a set of twin fans with simple + - connections on each fan

now i am useless at thinking up how to wire things my self, but i can happily follow a simple wiring diagram

but i also want to know, do i need a relay or even 1 relay for each fan? and if so which relays would i need?

i want to wire them both up to a simple manual switch in the dash

could some one answer these questions and draw me up a simple wiring diagram please :)

From that you'll be able to calculate the current draw thus working out what rating relay and switch/wiring you'll need :)

just been outside to check them and nothing is written on them (not thats easily visible without taking them apart)

What did they come from? as I might be able to find the original fuse ratings

i just found this which i think may do the job, minus the temp switch of course

although i still need to know what relays to use?

You'll only need one relay if they don't exceed the rating, but you can get higher current relays anyway. Wired in parallel if one failed the other would still work too.

They are from a nissan almera tino, just did some research :)

Could'nt find the "nasty nissan" listed but a Range rover fans are protected by 30 amp fuses

Yes, or use those relays I linked before and wired direct to terminal 30 on the relay base with no inline fuse on the feed
