Comments: baught this little beaut a fair drive from where i live with no mot or tax but i could tell she was a keeper, sailed through mot needing a few bulbs and windscreen wipers, needs a little tlc on the front end but other then that is pretty much immaculate, it will be nice when shes all done :)

when i picked her up:

soon got a poverty spec grill :p

then some of theese bad boys arrived

got them fitted and thats about where I'm at today, picking up minilites this week some point and hopefully some loverly cbr 600 carbs :)

Pov spec grille and yellowy lights looks good IMO, think it has a nice retro feel to it and the roof rack helps with it. Will be awesome when the front end is tidied up and she gets the TLC she needs ^_^ Think you got yourself a nice little motor and was a wise choice despite having to get it from a while away without tax/test (:

Looks like a pretty tidy base. Loved the originality of it.

I preferred it with the twin lamp grille, but then, I'm a twin lamp kinda guy .

Get the plastics cleaned/waxed/painted too and it will be a very racey looking motor.

i keep meaning to give the plastics a going over with a heatgun but never get round to it :L the sale of the minilights went south when a member never got back to my many mails about picking them up ¬¬ also picked a webber up the other day for mega cheap but decided i dont want it so baught a set of cbr 600 carbs and I'm just awaiting there arrival :) the wheel hunt is back on but there doesnt seem to be anything local and i dont really want to drive hundreds of miles to pick some up :(

small update, picked up some bbs mahles today which is my second set and i love them, threw them straight on to take a picture :L needs some fine tuning like a few coiles chopped out the front, the rear raising a bit and the spacers i have on the rears not to mention the wheels being resprayed and maybe polished! anyway heres a picture:

also picked myself up some bike carbs which i gave to a mate who owns a custon chop shop locally to clean for me, found out theres mixture screws missing, trumpets are all broken and blah :( buying some more tomorrow tho in better shape, also got a inlet manifold to suit. oh and got a new backbox because mine sounded like a banger racer :L

then yesterday i picked up a ported head with a gt cam, waiting to fit it all at the weekend :)

That front bumper is bugging the shit out of me.

me too! i keep meaning to run down the scrappy and pick up another bumper i know they have but haven't got round to it, might sort it at the weekend..

well.... getting the old manifold off was a pig because it was rusted to shit and i ended up braking it :L

so then i ordered a stainless steel one and waited two weeks before emailing where i got it from saying where the hell is it and they said i should have it mid febuary so i was like whaddafuck. cancelled my order and haven't got round to buying another with christmas and all. if anyone has one for sale it would be much appreciated, i have posted in the wanted section. just want to get her back on the road now :( shes been sitting round the back of a mates house for what seems like an age :(
