It's an Alfa, so the value will disappear in front of your eyes and the electrics will probably cack their pants.

And it's got a fiat-derived diesel in, so the electrics will definately cack their pants.

But when the electrics do go down the shitter and when it's worth nothing you can sit and look at it and sit in it.

Sounds like my Audi!

Don't know much about the electrics but one of my friends has one of these and he loves it. He's had it remapped and had a powerflow exhaust and it's plenty quick enough and really comfortable

Dads got a 60 plate giulietta, and its been nothing but trouble :| had 2 new gearboxes, 2 dashboard replacements and a diff and thats not even half the list..

but breras look fit and are quite well specced! I've spoke to a few people with breras at work and they haven't really had anything to moan about :)

i would have that over any german car.

more of a 159 man myself the back is just too bulbous on the brera.

I have a 2.4 JTD in an early 156 Sportwagon and would recommend it to anyone. It drives lovely and has been more reliable than any VW I've owned!

Had no end of Breras in at work (quick cosmetic tweeks for a local dealer), with virtrually every engine configuration coming through our doors at some point.

Their nice places to be and the fit and finish doesnt seem too bad to be fair. Its not quite up there with some of the Jap and German stuff, but its not shonky by any means.

On road they drive pretty well. Not really things you chuck about. More something you cruise in.

You buy the V6s for the noise, as they don't go as well as things should suggest and you buy the diesel if you can live without the noise and fancy some MPGs. You'll still get where you're going as quick as the V6.

+1

gorgeous car

to buy an alfa you need to stop thinking, don't take any advise at all, and just buy it

noone thinks before buying an alfa. you look at it, drive it, and want it.

I do not recommend buying an alfa, but you should definately buy it!
