Fellow Volvo fetishist here but for me if it's got a Volvo badge it has to be an estate.

My dream Volvo garage would have:

850 T5-R with the T5-R body kit and wheels removed

850 AWD Sport with custom exahust (daily)

240 zombie apocalypse vehicle (with some off road capability and loads of lights)

The only thing that is stopping me from buying a Volvo is the stupid amount of fuel they like to drink.

no. one of my mates just bought a 'mint' 240GLT 1989 for a grand. full leathers heated seats electric windows all round, 2.3 petrol rwd, and its been nothing but hell for him haha! volvos dont respond well to non genuine parts and volvo shit is expensive, even aftermarket and tuning :(

Amongst other cars I was looking at, the 340s were a consideration when I started driving. They are seriously ugly though, even for a Volvo.

I will be driving a Volvo this weekend, If you can call it a Volvo. It was built in Holland, has a Renault engine and 'box and Mitsubishi underpinnings.
