hi there, I'm debating on doing an engine conversion from like 1.2 12v polo 9n into a 1.8 20v Turbo, i was wondering if i would need to change the mounts on the engine, i know its obvious for the brakes and suspension to get modded, not sure if i would need to change the mounts or would a 1.8 20v turbo fit straight in? Thanks alot

the engine out of a 9n3 gti will fit straight in, if your one of the lucky ones you could find one with rear end damage and use it as a doner but good luck trying i looked for over a year and only seen the one

my sisters boyfriend had a 9n3 polo gti 1.8t 56 plate he rolled, it was going to buy it for spares, but engine didnt turn over, would use a Golf AGU engine, need to know about mounts
