Today i had time for the polo :-D

I replaced the passenger quarter glass and got all the seals sitting tight. hopefully the rain and water will PISS OFF now

I then drove the car down to our garage and popped it on a ramp ready for the ARB blocks.

After some time, pain, 1 snapped bolt and some swearing the f***ers finally sat in the right place

Next up is the sound system with a lovely little 8" flat sub under the passengers seat

Good stuff! Whats it handle like now with the blocks?

I really have no idea haha i have lots of loos bolts and screws in the car at the moment as the door cards are off on the passengers side and there is no passenger seat.

It felt a lot more harsh on the little bumps though :) cant wait until i have the car back together and the strut brace on the front top mounts will be chucking him around like a nimble go kart hopefully.

Just kidding , you should notice its a lot more sharp whilst diving into corners now. Looking awesome though, good progress.

No updates as of yet on William the Polo but have just spent more money on some VWII calipers and vented discs :-D

New back seats on there way from @prankstar2003 very excited about the fact my car will look the same in the back now

So its been a little wile since the last proper update but here we go :-D

First things first was to look under my rear passenger arch trim as i had noticed bubbling there a wile back and (stupidly) just ignored it.

SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So at this point i was quite literally crying I have no skill with paint/welding/cutting.

I took the car to my buddy Julian who runs Torbay car hospital and worked a deal with him. 1 week later and we were good as new :)

Being the legend that Julian is he took photos all the way through the process as he knew i was doing the build thread.

The paint was so perfect i could not even tell that it had been done

William also passed his MoT and got a fresh 6 months tax.

no worries mate if it was me i would get them sorted as if for some reason the spring unseated it self ( not saying it will but for some unnone reason ) it would smash against your tyre as the only thing stopping the spring it is the shocker tube houseing and not the raised bit on seat on the spring plate if you get what i mean ? thats the main reason its there.
