I'm pretty sure it should do as the mk4 has more space, but should get a second opinion on it. If your interested just drop me a call on the number above, and ill find out more mate.

I'm shore the engine mounts are in a diffrent places and if you trying fitting the polo engine to a golf gearbox, it wont fit.

erm I've heard that this engine is straight fit into a 6n 1.0 engine not sure about 1.6, for the 1.0 the fitting is straight swap just need to change everything over including loom (i have it).
