i got it second hand buddy.

if i had to get it new id go to car audio security.

i went in there and they tried convincing me i needed custom made rear struts and it would cost me £3500...

I know an airlift kit with v2 management is 2700 from car audio security at the moment.

I guess I was just lucky. I just put a post up on instagram and a few people were selling up.

anyone know the pcd of the top mounts? are they the same as a mk1 golf?

Got the custom top mounts on. Got it to lay frame. Also sorted out the boot.

thrown in the bin haha. I got some from comp brake. but they need re drilling for the holes to match up.

Link to top mount please how much lower have you gone through them? Still use a bearing or solid mounts?

yeh id say the frame was about 20mm off the ground before. maybe it would go lower but the frame is on the floor now. i guess it depends if your running coils or bags as my old bearings sat inside the spring. make sure you get the non camber adjustable ones as the adjustable ones dont fit. if you get the standard 120 pcd then 2 bolt holes will line up.

yeh, but the bearing sits higher up in the compbrake ones. you taken out the arb?

those struts were custom made, I got them for Nick off of Henry he spent a lot of money having the kit made up, around 1000-1500 on the rear struts alone he spent, he sold the car before he even got to fit them, good to see you've got it low now, was a shame it Nicks sat shit on those front struts!

As soon as I got the top mounts on and the arb out it went right down! Still got alot of fitment issues to play around with but I'm getting there slowly. Sounds like I got myself a sweet deal! Still a long way to go to get it to the standard of yours though!
