Does anyone know if the Cupra 2 (cable gear) fits into the 6n2 GTI with its original engine (ARC/AVY) of course.

Gear? Cable gear? Stereo cables?

Gearbox? It is possible to fit it, yes. However, it's a monumental task - you need to use a different engine block, custom driveshafts, engine mounts, linkages.. big big job.

Is there a gearbox that can be easily fitted into the car that is better and stronger?

refurbed units generally have bolts instead of the weak rivets that causes the gearbox to fail an I haven't heard of many recon'd boxes failing

Actually my box is just fine I just dont like driving and being scared for it all the time.

I would like to replace it with a good reliable one.

There is no straight swap for a better one, they are all made of chocolate!

U can drill the rivets out yourself

Yeah, drilling them out is the plan I just thought it might be easier to replace the entire thing.
