So i've found someone breaking a German Polo with this fitted, its too far away for me to go and remove but they have agreed to remove it and post.

that i can get away with just the motors, white plastic attachment bits, switch and plugs with a bit of wire, then making a loom from the diagrams in the haynes manual.

However they have asked if i want the loom for them, which tbh if possible yes i would.

My question is in a car with this fitted from the factory would the wiring be combined into the other looms, making it a ball ache to remove or is it a secondary loom seperate to everything else?

I also found that car. But i already have that system. All NOS boxed. And a Right hand drive switch . I dont know about how it was fitted from factory, but i have the loom, and it came wrapped from VW, so i assume that it was seperate, although i think it does take a feed from the headlight loom... I would like to know how it wires into the rest of the loom, as i am finding the haynes wiring diagrams difficult to understand. I'm hoping it just plugs in. Need to get it fitted, i've had it since i bought the car last october!

Ok so hopefully it is seperate, yeah i contacted them with a list of parts asking if it had any of these Theres a fair few motors and switches on German ebay but i'm not fussed enough to have them come that far, theres more exciting things instead

Bummer, i should have said hi! I was looking at a beetle, then saw you and was wondering whether to risk asking if it was yourself, then got distracted by the mk1 roccos

It would be very cool to finally see a polo in there, a club polo stand would be cool but thats way over my head

Anyone have an idea as to how the loom goes through the bulkhead? Joining in at the fuse box or going through somewhere else?

Most likely one of the spare grommets. Or it would pass through with the bulkhead with the loom.

I've got the system lying around but no loom. Lol. Was going to use a light leveling unit off a Saab rear beam and make a self leveling system by combining the two.
