MK2 1987 Polo Coupe GT S - Spares or Rep - poss swap WHY

Featured Replies

1987 Polo Coupe 1300 GT S, Still a good solid car but have no time or garage space to sort.

Got the car a few weeks back with a know overheating issue - was hoping it was just the headgasket but the engine has now developed a heavy tapping - suggest engine needs replacement.

103K MOT and tax just out - cant see any reason it would not fly through the next mot. Drives very well with a nice 5 speed box. Interior good, orginal alloys with good tyres - good history with 3 ownwers.

Laquer on body starting to lift. Will break if I dont sell but would be a shame as still has plenty potential.

Based in Sidcup DA15

Offers arround £400.

Is the shell solid?

Yes very solid. rear panel has a little bit on damage below the bumper that would knock out easily and from grille panel is a bit rusty. under side is rust free.

If you decide to break I may be interested in the bumpers, windscreen (if its factory green tint) and grill. Price and condition dependant

if you do decide to break it, i am realy interested in the alloy wheels, how muc posted?? also the rear bench as my mate been looking for months as he got the interior and was told it had no back bench when we only just turned up.

many thanks

Andy
