Fitted the new gearbox today and got a mate round in a 6n2 to compare looms and fit all the missing plugs for the indicators and loom.

So all she needs now is a nsf bearing and a patch on the sill then its time to put her in for an mot :)

The gti conversion has been done very well however theres a few plugs i need to solder from 6n to 6n2, for the horn and indicators. The battery light and epc light are on the dash and the brake warning light is flashing, still need to work out why.

also the brake pedal gets stuck like 95% up causing the brake lights to stay on, any ideas why??

no updates yet apart from I've fixed the windows not working, put it on steels and fitted a wheel bearing.

very busy at work but expect updates next weekend :)

Cheers guys, got some 15'' steels for her now all fitted with a bit of stretch, these will be winter wheels and whilst they are on i shall be refurbing the bbs and painting them all one colour of the car, but the lips and centres opposite colours if that makes sense.

and then one the bbs are back on I'm going to send off the steels for banding then they will be painted the same.

only have two pictures of the mates micrawave when i flared the arches for him, note the blowtorch, jack handle and tyre lever lol ghetto arch rolling.

also whilst I'm on photobucket heres a brief couple of pics of my old cars just so you know what i do and that the polo is in safe hands they were all standard when bought
