I've owned this car for around 6 months and in that time, have had A LOT of work done to it and done by vw specialist aswell. See below.

Exterior:

Excellent condition Flash red paint what shines with every wash and polishes up even better, looks brand new.

No faded paint what is rare on red cars these days!

Sunroof model, all works spot on.

headlight washers also, function correctly as they should.

Fitted with a rare Genuine Votex Body kit, what included front valance, rear valance and rear spoiler. IMO the best kit around for the mk4 platfrom :) There is a crack on the front valance but would repair easily, hard to notice and never really bothered me.

I removed the rear GOLF and TDi badges and there is no sign of them, i.e laqure peel or sticky residue. Looks really clean.

As any 12 year old car, there are the odd mark here and there but hard to notice, seriously is in good condition.

Has the rear 3 windows tinted, rear windows are fine but the rear windscreen has a bit of bubbling on it.

Chassis:

Lowered on JOM coilovers, All the weay down on the rears and 3/4 on the front. Ride is suprisingly good and they still have 18 months warranty, and papper work too prove. always give them a quick splash with lubrication.

18" Lenso AD1 alloys what look good and I've never seen them on any other dub, especially a mk4! what attracted me to them.

They do need a lick of paint and i havnt had them long and not got round to it.

Tyres are all good with around 5-6 mm tread on them.

Uprated Bora 4motion/TT front ARB to overcome driveshaft clearance issues, and is 3mm thicker too. when changed had new bushes too.

Will come with standard alloys with great tyres, 2 x brand new falkens and 2 great rear tyres too.

Engine:

115 BHP with 240 n/m toruque

Pulls well :)

returns 50 mpg easy and 600 miles to a tank!

mileage is 120,000 but dont be put off, have just spent litterally thousands bringing it back to new.

-8000 miles ago had a new turbo and n75 valvue and vaccum pipes.

- a matter of day ago it has had the headgasket replaced

- cambelt and water pump just been done.

- oil change and filter change

- head rebuild, valvue repositioned , for precaution as the head was off.

- new oil cooler hoses as old ones perished.

- new termostat and coolant and at the time, the engine was flushed 5 times to clear the system so its fresh.

- engine bay was steam cleaned and degreased when work was carried out.

there would have been more but thats the main things from the top of my head.

Gearbox and clutch are all great, pulls through all 6 gears without an issue or noises.

Interior:

Black and red cloth heated seats what all work.

Only thing i have done is wired a aux in cable to the 6 cd changer.

All in good condition apart from a tear on the drivers boltster, not bad at all.

Has an r32 gear knob also.

So to summarise, An awsome motor, that will make someone very happy, but unfotunately the money I have just spent, totals to around £2000 for the above work, i had to borrow to fix it and have lost heart in my plans, what were big seeing the spec and body work etc.

Looking for £2500 OVNO

will consider PX for caddy, golf, polo gt/g40 anything vag really, pref cash my way but try me.
