Mk3 Polo GT

Featured Replies

Right, up for sale is my much loved Mk3 Polo GT, only selling because I fancy myself a Mk2 Golf.

Probably wont come on the RA's, and will be sold with original wheels and caps.

Runs extremely well, always starts up and runs first time, it's probably the most reliable car I've ever owned! Loads of receipts for servicing and maintenance. The head was fully skimmed and rebuilt and new head gasket just before I bought it in 2009.

Year/Reg: 1991

Mileage: 150,000

MOT: June 13

Tax: Sep 13

About the car:

Just given it a full service, oils, plugs, filters etc.

Non-sunroof model

Uprated engine mounts

Brand new Throttle Position Sensor

S/S exhaust manifold

Sports rear exhaust

Refurbished the rear brakes, new shoes, new cylinders, new brake fluid

G-laderseite ARB blocks

Fly-eye wrap on headlights and indicators, this can simply just be removed if you don't like it.

8k chip

GTi 239 callipers and vented discs.

Pressed metal plates

6n alloy rocker cover, and plastic surround

Shortened Gear stick

OMP rear strut brace

Running it with the grille GT badge now aswell

Lowered suspension, Shocks/springs up front and coilovers on the rear.

Mk2 Golf Interior.

Spare bits:

Standard set of GT seats

Set of headlights

x2 sets of orange indicators

x2 Airbox

Standard Backbox

Mk2 Golf GTi AFM

Lowering top caps

Standard Rocker Cover

Standard Chip

Solid rear parcel shelf

I have everything to turn this car back to a totally original condition if wanted to!? I even kept the original GT suspension if you wanted that too.

Bad bits:

A few bubbles, marks and car park dings here and there, but it is a 21/21 year old car now!

Because its quite low, the steering arm touches the body - only on full lock turning left.

Starter motor stays engaged for a second when turning the car on when cold. It just needs re-greasing.

Location: Plymouth/Exeter - Devon
