hello all this is my second polo its a 1.4 16v open air paid a grand total of £900 for it has smoothed front bumper , coilovers some gash head lights

its need a little tlc

dont like starting when cold (new temp sensor ordered from vw)

drivers side window dont open (needs new clips and motor lubed have clips in shed)

central locking is playing up (took central locking motor out and took it to pieces soldered it back up and it works a treat)

looks like it been in a ding on the front end as its leaking water but I'm not sure where from

temp gauge seem to be all over the lace ( got new thermotwat )

other then that is clean no rust on body apart from sill where its been dropped on jack

has a few stone chips etc but other then that clean

open air roof has 2 holes in but it doent leak (yet)

only done 73000 miles

plans

change front lights and rear lights put wheels on it and clean it up make it a low daily driver

pix from the first day i got it

took it for a drive and took a better pix of the front end

got my self a set of all red rears and new head lights and some lamin x

also i pick up 3 bbs rz alloys there 15inch et28 7j but I'm not sure weather to get another one or get some renualt clio mk1 alpine alloys and have then all black but sitting tucked in the archs as its a bit murdered not sure as well to put orange ambers in or not

but thats it atm i have owned the car for 2 weeeks so more to come yet

ok today was a good day lol i have had a major water leak since i bought the car i took it to be fixed and it turned out that is was a water pump leaking so had that and cambelt and alternator belt all changed so on the way home i thought id take a few pix

yes i know its dirty but its staying dirty untill the sun comes out again lol

new wheels are being refurbed atm so they will be on onces winters gone

haha mate if u would of bought it u would of been disapointed had been leakin water like it was the later few drops using about 2ltrs a day so since owning it its had cambelt water pump thermostat 2 new tyres the guy was a right cowboy but least its sorted now and i actually nice to drive now few more little bits need doing but apart from that its great

Typical, get rid quick tactics then, I have a problem of fixing everything before I sell them and lose out lol but atleast I know it's right!

I'm in three minds about what to get or do..

I have a tdi ibiza I'm bored of it and want another polo,

Either mk4 16v 5 door,

Mk5 1.4 tdi 5 door

Or keep it and spend all my money on my classic resto mk1 escort :) and have it done quicker

finally got round to doing wheel bearing and i fitted wheels today still rubs loads but that will be sorted tomo and more lows is needed

today took my iner arches out so it dont rub which mean i will be going lower

not really much of a massive update but i got a new roof today for a bargin price £20 so pleased with it just gotta fit it

sold the 15inch bbs rz coz i dont really like 15s and I'm not a fan of putting 165 50 15 on so they had to go so had to put old wheels back on :(

i replaced em with yep 14inch version lol

only pix of the wheels atm as me old chap went and picked em up should be on by end of month

plan is to go matt black then clear coat laquer

and i also decided to take lights to bits and spray inner makes it look so much darker

haven't updated for a while but the cars up for sale at the mo as I have fallen out of love with it but if it keep it first thing I'm gonna do is stick it on lower profile tyres and slam the hell out of it a few pix of how it stands atm
