hey I'm luke, I've wanted a mk1 for about 2 years and so when my birthday came around(17) i decide it was time to get one and so one night quite late iwas on the mk1polo forum and i got a PM so i checked it out and i was offered a very mint atlas white 76 Polo L so within a few days i went to view it and made the deal and this was the pic i saw from the ad

and this is when i got it home(note the rare square roof line and rarer 4 hole front panel

I've had the car since the end of june now

and as always every classics going to need a little bit of work and i was really suprised with how little rust there is on the polo

this was all removed and repainted body colour(ignore the bit of black undercoat behind the strut i couldnt get to it very well

There is a show stand that Matty is putting on at Tatton park VW show. Is a Special Polo stand and he's trying to get all Mk's of Polo. I think its currently lacking a Mk1 and yours does look lovely. So I think it would be cool to have it there! :)
