Snow in Milton Keynes this morning!

My camera's broke, dropped it at the pod taking a pic of Eric, but it's as heavy as PW's pic, nearly as heavy as this:

no snow here but they say it will, i don't believe them as the eco-system round here doesn't favour snow, sea to the south, river to the west, south downs to the north. if it snows to today here, I will go drifting.

Well i took the mrs and daughter to work this morning, and saw two crashes - one was the car behind me and i think i was a bit too spicy a pace-setter for them

The other was a Transit, some prat clearly not thinking about the whole downhill/snow/T-junction situation he was faced with until it was too late. Fool. I thought you had to be 25 to drive them..?

Anyway, bit of drizzle later and the gridular bypass system in Milton Keynes is really just wet now - the smaller housing estate roads are still pretty entertaining though..

I work in a little village north of MK, it was hilarious watching everyone else get stuck on the hill near the office!

I love the way so many drivers in MK think they're the best driver in the world, until we get a dusting of snow and it's pure carnage. Every year i'm out in it, i see people crashing. I don't think i've done a single journey in the last five years in the snow without seeing someone loose it. It's total madness.

(Inb4 reminder that i crashed in february - no i'm not perfect, and that was on black ice with subtle frost in the sticks when i'd had about 10 hrs sleep all week, and was my first own-fault accident since 1996).

Milton keynes is home to the highest concentration of tailgating company car drivers in my experience!

This thread makes me jealous :( all we've had is shit rain

A bit of snow here in Bedford / Bromham.

Mostly melted but the temperature drop last night has turned most of what didn't melt into ice.

The hill up to my work made the EDL do some work and a bit of a sideways slide for good measure.

I'm just glad the heater in my car works even if the aircon doesn't.
