Sure If you use hydrolic fluid it's the same as brake fluid (dot 4) and if goes deap enough it can rewin the alloy/metal as it can corrode to.

Not really sure but, water is the best way to neutralise brake fluid so :/ don't really Want to try that on my bbs's ahah.

The hyraulic fluid I mentioned is nothing like car fluid, it's caustic but it's safe on alloy (would'nt be much use if it attacked alloy as thats what most of the hyraulic pipes are made of)

where would we get this fluid from? As its aircraft stuff, I doubt they have it in Halords...:)

totally agree about the nitromors. last can i bought i left it on for a full 24 hours complete waste of time. picked up a some paint stripper in a spray can called "ABRO" at motor factors. great stuff could see the paint bubbling off after 30 seconds and real easy to apply as you don't have to brush it on haha. but expensive like over a tenner for 500ml

The eastwood stuff? http://www.frost.co.uk/catalogsearch/resul...+paint+stripper - They have a few different types, an aerosol which I've used ( good on flat surfaces but a bit messy on vertical stuff as its not as good as the gel type that they also sell.
