Remove the key ring and at the top of the key there is a little cut out, use a penny to seperate the two halves.

Inside you will either see a black plastic box with writing on it or a glass tube. Be VERY careful with the glass ones as they break easily and are useless when broken. Also they are usually glued down.

With the Rclick remotes, go easy when un screwing them as the plastic is weak and most of the time you cant get the screws back again.

As Dixy says the glass ones are very fragile, use some of your Mrs's nail varnish remover (acetone) to release/soften any glue that might be around it before you try to remove it

hi guys thanks for the advice i did get the transponder out but chiped it a little will this effect it ?

If it's only the plastic, then no.

Try it and see.

PoloD.

If its one that looks like a snapped bit of pencil "lead" it will probably be okay.
