Well first up you need a new chassis leg

What route are you looking to take with it? Injection, carbs, keep engine as full avy/arc or hybrid it?

Once you have a better idea of which way you are going we will be able to give you a bit more guidance

He's probably pissed that you got a mention and he never

Just swap the parts over.

Break the old one..

Use that money for an engine . Drop the AFH in which you already have all the parts for ?

Injection or carbs. Still will be more than enough power for you ash lol ;)

Not much point really.. "2wice as much work

to get good power they become BHP to COST inefficient, they're great as budget builds with a quick power gain though.

Like every engine then?

Modifying engines isn't cheap, unless you can do the work yourself!

So unless you're max it's expensive ;) joking MaxMax :)

Dude decide what you actually wanna do as guy said then people can assist accordingly

Much love,

No, asin a engine designed to rev will rev and mods to help it along will be cheaper than a engine not designed too.

A engine designed to be torquey, mods along them lines chances are will be cheaper, derv to example, mess with the pump/map and your good for some nice turquey grunt.

Boosted engines, cheaper to buy a pre boosted one and have abit of faith in it than buying one thats not ment to take boost then having to pay to make it boost worthy.

No shit sherlock, thats a well constructed/informative comment there Max, so i guess you leant that nugget of information in some book?

Depending on what you want from the engine has a major factor on what way you go with the engine, decide what route you want and decide how you plan to mod it from there. Boosted, n/a, revving high end power, torquey e.t.c

Might be a little more work but it can also mean that your main car is only off the road for a short time. Get the engine built and running in one, once you're happy with it its just a weekend job to swap them over

I built an engine on carbs and fitted it needing it for work, be fine !

You'd already had it running on the carbs in another car tho yarris, pretty much what povwloo wants to do

1st time round he had on the stand running lol.

good point guy but with a conversion this simple it wouldnt take long to get it sorted

I mean 6n lol. I built an engine and fitted carbs which I had no experience of an needed the car for work lol. Second time round was a walk in the park

Depends which route he wants to take really. Besides (and I don't mean this is a derogatory way) he doesn't seem to have a lot of experience in this field so its really not gonna do him any harm to he able to take his time over it. No point in rushing something like that if you have the option of taking your time over it imo

Why was I mentioned? Haha anyway I'm sure you said that pepi was a write off? First I'd make sure that its solid considering it has a crack in the chassis and you wanna put power in it

Haha it's only gonna get more written off eh ;)

Haha

I kinda got the idea this was just being used to get his new engine running?

If you are looking to get this repaired I don't think you could go wrong with a subframe to Add some more strength to it once its done
