Pulled into my close tonight , turned the wheel and nearly slid down the hill into the back of a 12 plate Nuremberg corsa..

Pulled into a space, Got out my car looked back , blotches of ice littering the car park had no control what so ever , took me by complete surprise considering I was rolling on the clutch. The other roads were fine , just damp.. the carpark was a bloody ice rink and down hill!

At work tonight could hear all the boy racers coming round the corner and blitzing though the gears as their tyres slide down the road, no doubt most of them with no tread….

Any one else had similar incidents recently?

.. So glad i didnt hit his car , Happy mines still in one piece too!

Sounds like a close call, you were lucky!

Haven't had an incident, but our go karting was cancelled this evening because of ice on the track, yet it makes it sound so much more fun!

Go karting in the rain is bad enough with the slick tyres they run.

Someone parked thier car next to my work lastnight

this morning , front end missing.... looks likes someone couldn’t handle the weather and hit the parked car!

Getting in, defrosting and driving in this was no fun..

I was meant to have my driving test yesterday and it was cancelled due to ice. It wasn't that bad tbh only lost the back end once on a roundabout on my way to test station

I personaly wouldnt drive on , ALthough in the flesh the one out the back looks real nice and tidy

although just looked it up... of 0-62mph acceleration in 6.5sec doesnt seem to bad from a 1.6

my e30 was completely unusable last winter when we had some snow, it just doesn't move! its just you and your accelerator, no electrics to help :)
