Think the tax disk was 85 or something like that.

You can weld yeah?

  • Author

I should hope so lol :) wouldn't have bought it lol the welding would of cost more than the car

Should be a pro by the end of this.

  • Author

Yep :)

My grinder and welder will be my best friend :(

Bloody hell  . Good luck mate. you've got some work on you hands with it 8-)

cheeRS Tom

How much did you pay for this if you dont mind?

Regards

£800 delivered

Shit me that's rotten!

Good job you've got all the panels you need. Parts are so expensive for these.

My mate let a solid mk1 with Mexico arches and a 2.0 pinto go for like 3.5k, just needed painting and putting together.

Good luck indeed haha

  • Author

should of finished it.. and asked 6k+ lol

Jesus! Thats no small task!

Christ man you got bigger balls than Chuck Norris for taking on that "Project"...........

Good luck man..

:D will need it lol

Good luck mate, will be looking out for this!

p.s you could teach night classes at your local college for welding after this

  • Author

Could teach then on this! Just to get it bloody done

Fucking hell, that's beyond repairing IMO.

If you manage this, then fair play!!

  • Author

I will succeed :)

Best of luck sir, don't go buying any Vtec lumps until it's solid!

Thats one hell of a basket !

Atleast its something with a decent following, so much of what you'll need to make it solid again is available. Can't imagine having to fabricate up parts for something obscure on that kind of scale.

I made the mistake of getting excited lol! I bought lowering blocks the 1st day I bought it..

And my uncle was selling his Mondeo zetec so I bought and stripped that for the engine took the complete loom out..

To find out that the blacktop engines are harder to convert than the silvertop..

So I've sold everything off that making a £200 profit lol..

But wasted 5 days of my time!!

Your a fucking mad man Ashi

good to see this being saved tho, i'll be keeping an eye on this for updates :-)
