Hi, I own a 6n2 1.4 16v and have been thinking about getting a GTI grill but I want to put a 16v grill badge on it as my standard grill has one due to it being the 100bhp version which I think looks good.

Do the 16v badges fit on a GTI grill? If not,

Is there any modifications I could do to the badge to make it fit?

you can pop the GTI letters off the badge and fix the 16v onto it if it isnt a straight fit! thats how i've got mine with TDI in a GTI grille.

Thanks, that was one of the ideas I had but the shape of the backing on the GTI badge is different to the 16v badge. I'm thinking I should cut some of the plastic clips off a 16v badge so it sits flush and tie cable ties around the remaining clips to connect it to the grill. That way none of the cable ties can be seen and it will look good.
