Noddy the mars red coupe

Featured Replies

Bought myself a nice little mk2 coupe a couple weeks back which has 1 owner from new

ALL the history including its original receipt which is for £4240

just a 1 litre for the time being which will hopefully change within the next year

its done a lot of miles at 163 thousand but its such a clean little car which has been very well looked after with no rust what so ever.

only got a few pics atm but more to come

This wee thing is gorgeous! It's also quite an early coupe, isn't it?

Looking good so far mate

Saw this today in B-town, looking smart! I was in my van so didn't wave, would have looked a bit mental lol. I'm the one who bought the GT engine off Chris by the way. Hopefully see you about this summer at the shows etc!

Wheels first

Looks clean

Brakes first as it's an early MK2?

haha still with that 1.6?

1.6? That was ages ago! Mans going for turbo power you! May want to look at bigger brakes Eric thinking about it!

lol naa. be fine.

why do i need bigger brakes? I'm still going to do the speed limit

The breaks are fine............ Well, engine breaking is fine ! Aha

And I'm thinking of banding my steels to 7's and 8's, although not sure how the 8's are gonna fit in the rear arches. Anyone got any 8js in these arches without camber?

And yeah Chris has basically set up his own mk3 spares haha, he was trying to flog me that gt engine when I had my mk2 bready, did you get the normal one or the one thats all lightened and balanced ?

I'd go 6.5s and 7.5s just for the clearance, I seriously cannot believe how clean this car is considering the mileage! Its immaculate!

  • Author

yeah i was thiking 6.5s and 7.5s but i dont want to do it for it not to fill the arches enough... but then i could always space them i guess.

was hoping to try and get myself some early nova steels that look like stars to band but I'm not sure how hard they are to get hold of tbh
