suddenly.........nothing at all. which is exactly what i expected.

Whatever destroys the world isn't gonna be done in two minutes flat, it's a big old world, so we're not in the clear just yet.

It could be in force now, just nobody has felt it start up. It's still earlier on in the day in the U.S, and let's face it, America is where these things tend to happen.

Still, i don't recall the ancients saying this part of the universe would catch fire? Wasn't it just a calendar thing? Like time could just stop. We'd have no time anymore. Like people with kids.

I'm not gonna count my chickens for another day or two. If nothing has changed, then i'll go do my Christmas shopping.

Well yesterday the rain was going completely horizontal....yet we survived the apparent end of the world.

I did a small bit of research and I don't understand why people thought the end of the Mayan calender would be the end of the world?

The modern day calender ends every 12 months and I've survived 26 of these endings so far...

For the same reason the Y2K bug was supposed to reset the worlds computers back to the stone age......

People's Complete and utter gullibility in believing exactly what the Media tell's them.

Its like that crack pot priest a few months back that declared the world was ending in June as he had calculated from the bible, then cometh the day nothing, apparently he was mistaken and issued a new date...

Has anyone noticed how most of the End of the World things come out of America....

This had nothing to do with the media but every thing to do with people being stupid/gullible. People were going on about this long before the mainstream media cottoned on to it
