Sold my mk2 polo a few months ago to a mate of mine who is currently rebuilding for the vwdrc. Brought eith the money a mk2 scirocco 1.6 gt auto for a wopping sum of £250 unfortunately brought it with some running problems, fu line blockage and temporarily no dizzy, so yeah i am now the owner of a mk2 scirocco :) will post pics up latet as am on mobile atm

..brought it with some running problems, fu line blockage..

There should be a little plastic gauze on the end of the pick-up pipe in the fuel tank, gets blocked, two minute job to check/clean that.

i found out what was the problem that caused the fuel line block on the rocco - filler neck was rusted through majorly :(

, was thinking about buying a new one but @ £150 for it i decided not to lol and luckily my father came through with a few contacts that he knows and this is the result :

unfortunatly whist removing the filler neck discovered another little problem with her: #

a slight bit of rust in the arch so thats now added to the todo list / and I'm still waiting on the friggin dizzy lol :( but should have that in the next few weeks :)

Great Car man! Looks like you might have your hands full for a little while with that rust mind I may have to get a rocco next!
