88 MK2 Polo Breadvan

Featured Replies

Somewhat special, had 7500 miles when I bought it, now has just under 11000

It's a 1L, slow as hell :x

Love it though, no major modifications to speak of yet, except a set of baby g60 steels

How I bought it

How it looks now

Both wings are crusty at the bottom so either need repairing, or new wings, whatever works out to be cheaper/easier

I'm looking for a 60/60 lowering kit to put on which will hopefully make it look a lot nicer, also have an early mk2 exhaust (which doesnt have a centre box) which I intend to chop about a bit and fit

I know of a white mk2 breadvan in a breakers in Dunfermline, it's a bit dirty but think there might still be some usable parts.

There's also a red breadvan but it's a bit battered now, If you're in Dunfermline give me a shout...

I'm in Kinross so not far away at all, I could definitely use some parts from it

Not updated much here....

Fitted a side exit exhaust today, just chopped it at the curved bit, welded a straight pipe then bolted a universal hanger to the inner sill, works a treat and sounds pretty mean with just the centre box :D

Sweet - it was pretty easy just a pig to get it tucked up without rattling, they sound great like this though!
