Right the bloody car has managed to break its radiator - its sheared off the drivers side lower mount and pissed all its coolant out.

Just wondering, is it worth getting a bigger core one or just get a standard radiator for it? Standard one seems to be about £40, not too sure on the uprated ones, the only ones i have seen seemed to be about £250.

The makers obviously thought that the 'standard' one was good enough, so unless you intend driving it over the desert, I would suggest that you save your money and fit a standard one.

Do you have a cooling problem? If not, stick with a standard one.

Unless you have changed the engine much, I wouldn't bother.

Uprated ones are more efficient but unless you are running big power you won't be straining the original one

Hum, ok thats sorted then - just wondering why mine also only has one fan when most of the others have twin fans.

Now just got to sort one and fit it. Not that I am sure how do it - i am assuming once I get the bumper off its just a bolt-on job?
