Did anyone see the news today about the m6 car crash :/ I'm currently in Rawtenstall and was travelling up this morning from ascot , what I saw I can't describe at the moment :( , maybe i will tell in more detail in what i saw when I've recovered from the shock I just want to pay my respects to the 2 kids and the parent in the car, things like this make you realise what life's really about, and for something that could of happened to me if I was 10 seconds ahead and for something so tragic to happen on Xmas day :/ anyway hope everyone is having a good Xmas and please drive safe! Gotta say fair play to the emergency services!

Good to hear you're safe though. It might sound stupid, but don't be afraid to have a sit down with a counsellor (GP can refer if needed) if you find you need to. I had something along the same lines happen in front of me a few years back and it can weigh on you.

Terrible thing that, especially on christmas day. Yeti is right about counselling, its best to see someone.

So so tragic especially when children involved and i totally agree with Yeti with regards to counselling if you feel that it plays over and over in your mind. It reminds me of an incident when i was a teenager whilst out on my bike i witnessed an accident involving 2 young guys who had overshot a roundabout and lost control sliding sideways into a lamp post they must of been doing over 60 and being a TVR which was made of fibreglass the whole thing crumpled up .The driver died instant and the other driver was in a bad way which i did find out laters had died a little later on .

That has stayed with me even now and still plays over and over in my mind i knew there was nothing i could do but it makes you realise how finer line you walk on with life and death thats why i cringe when i see people on motorways or any rd who do well over the speed limit or darting in and out not giving a thought . I'm not clear on what was the cause of the said accident but i hope those people involved RIP as i say to my friends and family at this time of year be happy but be safe ..
