i looked at a build thread yesterday, cant remember the name, he has put a turbo on an aav, surely it would be similar, but having an alloy airbox container which has an outlet for the piping ect. dirrerent throttle bodies is all maybe ?

Putting the components together for a turbo conversion running bike carbs doesn't seem at all difficult, some slight thought into pilot tube design.

Setting it up maybe the hard part. Could be easy, I'd like to try it myself but yeah, can't be bothered really haha

right so basically a ball ache getting it done, but when it is. then paying tax is ok, but the insurance side of it is crazy. i take you got that quote because you declared all modifications on the tick boxes ? that didnt come up just as a result of the log book saying xx engine different from the original when you put the reg in ?

Insurance is easy if you have a decent insurer, DVLA can be easy, and can be a pain, I have experienced both.

deffo. misses insurance is buissness, only been driving a couple years, 6 bills fully comp with drive any vehicle and breakdown/courtesey car.. there reply to mods was "just list them, we wont cover cost but we wont charge you for them ether" so i can do anything to the car i like loooool

and then loose it all when you crash.. yeyyyyy
