Wind Deflectors

I just put some wind deflectors on my 2007 polo the windows shut fine but sometimes they come down when i put them up automatically like if you stick your hand in the window, is it because they are new or have i done it wrong? i put some of the metal clips in to stop them wobbling help quick :p

You should leave the windows closed with the deflectors in for at least 24 hours after fitting to allow the seals to open out a bit. Mine also triggered the anti-pinch to start with but stopped before long. I ditched the clips and used double sided tape on the deflectors to hold them in place.

Take the clips out. Mine are fine with no tape also. But leave windows up to bed them in for a bit

I had the same issue, it turned out the bit that goes next to the wing mirrors was catching so I just gently pulled the deflector out of the way (towards the wing mirror) so it cleared the window's path and its been fine ever since
