For a while now I've been going through a few relatively boring daily drivers, so I decided to see if I could get something a bit more fun but on a budget.

Found this Audi A3 near me which had recently run out of MOT.

Ended up getting it for just over £400, not bad for something with a 20vT in it.

It's not the cleanest example of an 8L A3 in the world but I have a few plans...but first it's just a case of get it MOT'd

Here it is as I bought it:

Took it for an MOT and got a list of only 10 items back for me to fix. So for the next couple of days its home is here in my lock-up:

I'll update soon with the MOT and hopefully more progress after that :)

Well I've spent new years day working on the Audi.

Not much to show as I forgot to take pictures while I was working on it.

But for the MOT I've had to replace a shock, a set of front pads, 2 bulbs and fix a leak in the exhaust.

Just waiting on a new front plate and everything will be perfect for it's retest.

Was looking at 1.8T Audis my self ^_^
