Well a few things have changed since lasting post. I have fitted a 4 to 1 stainless and a decat pipe which made a surprising difference to power. Also bought some g60 steels and thought I would have them banded as you don't see many fitted an more. So after a few quid later the were 7j fronts and 7.5j rear and thought I would go with a 165/50 tyre choice gives really nice strecth. So here's a few pics of the car on the banded g60's

Hope you guys like would like to go lower in the future but getting to the stage where if I go lower I will have to do a chassis notch.

Lovin the factory look with a little extra mines the same colour.

All credit to guys over at biz media

Lots of credit to them if they didn't mind you shitting all over the place...2 as well, what did you eat the night before?!?!?!

I'm in Bedford too, not seen your car around. Seen a white 6n out and about.

Think all you need to do is get the bump strips off and paint your door handles, otherwise it is near perfect.

I prefer the 1st set of wheels on the car, just my opinion.

Keep up the good work!

Forgot to ask, who stretched your tyres?

Been looking for some1 around Bedford to be able to do this.

Thanks!

 wandered what you was on about then looked at my post. I prefer the bump stops being there as it breaks up the paint. My polo doesn't get out much as I have a work van that I use for everything. The first set of wheels would have took to much to get fitting nicely because the offset and would of had to flare the arches wich I don't like.

Thompson brothers in kempston do it for me. You need to ask for Gary top bloke even though he's a bit mad

my wheels stick out a bit, not a big fan of it but until i get thinner adapters then i have to live with it!

Was cotemplating flaring the arches, but need a arch flaring kit first! Do you know anyone that i can borrow one from, would be cheaper than buying new adapters.

Keep an eye out for me, got a red 6n with teledials and the same petrol flap sticker as you!

Will do mate ill will be buying one soon because I need to attack my mk2 arches so u can rent it off me when I get it

  • Author

There only £75 to buy so would rather just buy one so I have my 6n needs the fronts doing and the mk2 needs all of them doing and its still cheaper than arch enemy or similar people that charge 110 for a pair

£75!

Is that it?

How about I give you £25 towards it, you roll my arches for me and you keep the thing?

If you're up for that then send me your paypal and i will transfer you the cash.

  • Author

Mate ill order it then give it a go on my mk2 and then ill hit u up. I cant promise not cracking the paint though. Ill keep you posted then just give as the money when I'm there doing the job for you

I love it when a plan comes together!
