It seems this is all you need to make a normal syncro into a country

Most of that looks cosmetic and some that isn't wouldn't be hard to fab up. If you weren't fused about having an exact rep you could probably knock one up for not a lot. Buy a cheap syncro, jack it up, fit spots, big wheels and a bull bar, paint it Matt green and go and have some fun abusing it

jeeeez... £4k for a mk2 is a hell of a lot of money but by the looks of it, its had every single box ticked from the stealers when it was new.

If I had £4k I could maybe justify that, looks rad.

A VR6 lump in that would be decent.

Its a mk2 syncro with a body lift, bulk bar and chunky wheels.

Without the wheels all the running gear is the same height as a standard syncro

Fair one, £4k really is steep as hell then.

What was the syncro then? Just a 4 wheel drive mk2?

Aye, I thought so. I would have thought a normal synchro was rare enough really. I quite like the country, might buy one and lower it

oh my god thats awesome!

As with all things, it's worth what people will pay for it I guess. It's a rare car, will always be worth more than a conversion.

TBH though if you wanted something to take off road, you'd be just as well lifting and strengthening a Syncro yourself and not worrying about it so much :)

I like these, I think they're bloody ugly but ther'es something appealing about it.
