Lewis' Mk3 polo GT coupe

Featured Replies

Model: 1991 GT coupe

Engine: Full stainless steel Powerflow system, Ashley 4-2-1 manifold, High lift piper rally cam, Poloace 8k limit chip, K and N panel filter (drilled air box).

Suspension: Spax 70mm springs and shocks.

Brakes: Ferodo fast road pads

Wheels and Tyres: 13 - 6" Et 13 multi-spoke alloys with polished dish, 175/50/13 yokohama A539 tyres

Exterior Styling: Clear indicators/side repeaters, late spec tinted clusters, full respray in original silver (wiper bit removed and flushed).

Interior Styling: Mk 2 coupe S seats. Late spec GT interior with black doorcards and headlining.

ICE and Security: Sony head unit with standard components in the front, Big metal bar! haha

Comments: I bought the car just over 7 months ago completely standard apart from the wheels. The car wasn't in great shape. Since then i have mainly thrown most of my money into the engine, handling and just recently a full respray.

In my room i have a number of goodies waiting to go on. These included some Brembo vented/grooved disks, Pagid Pads and I am on the look out for some VW2 callipers.

Future plans include a stage 3 race head and a bit more engine work...maybe even a G40 at some point.

Also I'm now on the look out for a smooth plynth for the tailgate!

Rolo - cheers man!

Silver GTs - you just got to love 'em!!! Nice job Lewis!!! Especially given the fact that you've had a full respray but kept it looking like it just rolled out of the factory - brilliant!!!

cheers!

Was thinking about taking them off, but knowing my luck it'll get dinged in a carpark by an overweight single mum doing her weekly shop whilst trying to open the door of her landrover....

I get worried enough as is!!

ok this is now up for sale - unfortunately being a student in london i have no need for the car anymore and would rather see it be looked after and enjoyed by a fellow enthusiast

car will be sold with no tax, but has a full 12 months mot.

I would like £1300 for the car or very near offer and will be throwing in G40 brakes and the G40 BBS alloys as well as a few bits and pieces.

my number is 07919853405 and email: lewjohns@gmail.com
