Wing re fitting.

Featured Replies

Fitted a motorised aerial, all was well until re alignment of the wing was to be done.

All the bolts are the same place, cause that's where their paint mark was! But It's so bad you can see the five bolts under the bonnet down the gap.

Any suggestions before I take it to a proper body beater guy?

Which I should of done anyways.

It's a generalisation, but what normally goes wrong is people undo the top bolts and the screw behind the bumper, then pull to try and see where it's still attached, so they mishape the panel where it goes onto the A-pillar.

I did exactly this, then realised the bolt under the sill. Not to mention the layer of under seal holding it on.

Oh balls.

I've done this too before.

Did you fix it? Or did you have to replace it?

My rear archs need doing in the summer anyways, another job on the list :(

loosen it all ...note what way it needs to move and lean on it /force it that way and have a help nip up the bolts , might take a few tries to make it right

just use the first and last bolt to get it in place. then put the others in
