ok, bit of an update....

solved the gearbox problem, ended up making a cradle to sit around the diff and give me a mounting point for the dogdone mount. Engine is now sitting in the bay alone just waiting on some bolts for the gearbox side

also removed the loom from the car so i can get it on the bench and attack it in small pieces...

Now thats a heavy duty dogbone mount... no clearence issues? And it looks like your engine sits quite far over to the passenger side?

Big notch!!

Just a standard cupra dogbone mount with powerflex bushes.... Nope none at all mate, the engine physically cannot go over to the drivers side anymore without hitting the chassis leg.

I'll upload a pic sometime this week to show you

Ahh fair enough, yeah i meant the bracket you fabricated up for the dog bone that goes around the box.

Yeah it is a bit bulky, probably too strong for what's needed but wanted to make sure it's capable of handling big horses :)

got the subframe off, finished the dogbone mount, powder coated a load of parts and changed the wheel bearings....... just waiting on some powerflex bushes for the wishbones.

Gonna be honest not a fan of the angle and height on the intake on the cooler out the turbo... :?

Plus if thats normal silicone it will melt from the turbo heat.
